The Knesset plenum approved, in a preliminary reading, the bill to commemorate the memory of the late Rabbi Haim Druckman. The bill was submitted by MK Moshe Solomon from the Religious Zionist Party.
According to the proposal, a center will be established to commemorate the work of Rabbi Haim Druckman, which will also include an institute for the study of his work, an archive, and a museum that will present his legacy to the public. Rabbi Druckman was a founder of Gush Emunim, the settlement movement in Judea and Samaria.
