The national Bible quiz for teenagers was held today (Wednesday) at the Yigal Alon Cultural Hall in Tzfat in the presence of the Director of Education Ministry, Northern District, Dr. Orna Simhon and the Director of Social and Youth Administration, Hagai Gross.
Sixteen contestants in the state secular and state religious schools from across the country competed in the Bible quiz. The candidates were chosen to represent their districts after receiving the highest scores in district quizzes.
The first place winner in the state secular education system is Omer Kader, a 9th grade student at Ahad Ha'am School, Petah Tikva. Second place was achieved by Amit Atel, a 10th grade student at the Rogozin Comprehensive School, Ashdod.
The first place winner in the state religious education system is Amona Cohen, an 11th grade student at the Kfar Eliyahu Educational Institute, Gadera. Second place was achieved by Neta Lex, an 11th grade student at the Bnei Akiva Shirat Hayam studio, Neve Tzuf.
