Chairman of the Noam party MK Avi Maoz submitted a bill to, "protect the children of Israel from gender insanity", in his words.
The bill states that Israeli schools will not be allowed to teach classes and/or activities that concern sexual orientation or gender identity to children under the age of 14. Also, a class or activity on these subjects for children over the age of 14 will be subject to several conditions: approval of the director of an institution, approval of 75% of the parents of a class, written approval from one of the parents, as well as the students' consent.
