The Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a statement clarifying Israel's position towards Jordan following Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich appearing at a conference with a "Greater Israel" map, in which the state of Jordan appeared within Israel's borders.
"Israel is committed to the 1994 peace agreement with Jordan," read the statement. "There has been no change in the position of the State of Israel which recognizes the territorial integrity of the Hashemite Kingdom."
