Knesset members Amit Halevi and Ariel Kellner, who appealed to the Minister of Defense to cancel the administrative arrests of two right-wing activists, are now clarifying that they sought to "verify with the ISA that the use of the draconian tool of administrative arrest is reserved only for the most extreme cases, in which the goal justifies the means and requires such a severe violation of human rights. The appeal was to the minister and not against him, we appreciate his dedication to the security of Israel and are sure that he is acting based on security considerations only and that is precisely why we appealed to him," added the members of the Knesset from the Likud.
