National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir responded on Wednesday night to President Isaac Herzog’s outline a compromise on the judicial reform.

"The people of Israel clearly and unequivocally made their voice heard at the ballot box, and chose us to govern. It is inconceivable that a group of anarchists, who try every week to paralyze all of Gush Dan and the Ben Gurion Airport, by blocking the main transportation routes in the State of Israel, would hold an entire country hostage and would try to force a compromise on us with threats and intimidation. It is inconceivable that an Attorney General would try to replace the Minister of National Security and freeze appointments of police officers."

"We as a government should not apologize for wanting to implement the policy for which we were elected. We as elected officials should not apologize for wanting to appoint the judges, with a Jewish-Zionist agenda and in accordance with the mandate we received from the people. It's time to govern," added Ben Gvir.
