The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office submitted to the District Juvenile Court an indictment against four Arab youths who took part in setting fire to the Hadassah Mount Scopus Medical Center.
According to the indictment, three of the defendants threw Molotov cocktails and rocks at a bus on Mount Scopus on several occasions. In one case, Molotov cocktails were thrown at a bus traveling near Hebrew University and in two others, stones and Molotov cocktails were thrown at Mount Scopus Hospital itself.
As a result of the defendants' actions and one of the Molotov cocktails falling in a wooded area within the hospital compound a short distance from the hospital's oxygen tanks, a fire broke out in the hospital yard and was eventually extinguished by security personnel.
