Foreign Minister Eli Cohen spoke on the phone today with EU Foreign Minister Joseph Burrell and told him that there is no room for EU interference in Israeli domestic politics.
In addition to this, Minister Cohen condemned the comparison made by Burrell between the acts of Palestinian terrorism and the Israeli victims and actions carried out by the IDF against terrorism, and the involvement of the European Union in financing Palestinian activities that encourage incitement and payments to the families of terrorists.
