Officers of the Ramallah Coordination and Liaison Directorate in the Civil Administration located a Palestinian truck today (Sunday) while it was illegally dumping polluting waste near the city of Ofra in the Binyamin Regional Council. The supervision unit in the Civil Administration confiscated the truck.
Dumping polluting waste in a pirated manner is a violation of the law and significant damage to nature and the environment. In the past year, the members of the Civil Administration have acted extensively against this serious phenomenon in the territories of Judea and Samaria, including the confiscation of dozens of trucks (sewers) seized by officers and employees of the unit.
Head of the Ramallah Coordination and Liaison Directorate, Lt. Col. Kfir Rosen, commented: "The enforcement activity carried out today is part of the many efforts led by the Civil Administration against criminals who pollute the environment throughout Judea and Samaria. The Civil Administration will continue to work to maintain public order and maintain security in the area."
