The head of the Infrastructure Planning and Development Administration, Shai Kedem, will end his position in accordance with the agreement with the director of the Ministry of Transportation. The date of the end of Kedem's term will be determined with the director of the ministry.

For the past eight years, Kedem, a transportation planner by profession, has served in a variety of senior positions in the Infrastructure Planning and Development Administration at the Ministry of Transportation. Among other things, he previously served as director of the senior division of transportation planning.

The Minister of Transportation and Road Safety Miri Regev thanked Kedem for his contribution to the ministry and his work to promote transportation systems in Israel. "Promoting transportation infrastructure, with an emphasis on mass transit and public transportation infrastructure, is a main goal of our ministry for the coming years, in order to reduce traffic congestion on the roads and encourage the public to use public transportation, instead of a private car, and support the further development of the Israeli economy. I thank Shai Kedem for his contribution to the advancement of the ministry's goals and wish him success in his future endeavors," added Regev.
