MK Ahmad Tibi participated this morning (Thursday) in a demonstration in Be'er Sheva against hundreds of demolition orders that were handed out this week to Bedouin residents of the Negev.

"Democracy is not just the committee for appointing judges. Democracy is having a roof over one's head. Democracy is not bulldozers. Democracy is to know a place and build in it. You must accept the Arab residents of the Negev as its native citizens," said Tibi.

"We are often asked why Arabs do not participate in demonstrations in Tel Aviv," he continued. "When there will be thousands of Jews by our side in this important struggle - the decisions will change, and the policy will change as well," insisted Tibi.
