A fire broke out in an elementary school in the village of Tuba-Zangariyye in northern Israel on Wednesday night. Three crews of firefighters rushed to the scene.
Upon their arrival, the firefighters detected a fire in the teachers' room in the school building. Acting quickly, the firefighters extinguished the flames, searched for trapped people in all the classrooms of the building and then ventilated the large amount of smoke that had accumulated in the building. There were no reports of injuries but the building sustained damage. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
