MK Matan Kahana from the National Unity Party welcomed the open letter published by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich in which he apologized to the Air Force pilots and explained his call to "wipe out Huwara".
"As a fighter pilot for many years, I can testify that the issues that Minister Smotrich wrote about in his address to the air force soldiers give a correct expression to the dilemmas that the fighters encounter. The minister's words are an offer to rebuild trust. In this kind of discourse we can find a solution to any internal crisis and defeat any external enemy.''
