The commander of the Central District of the Israel Police, Superintendent Avi Biton, issues an appeal to the public participating in the protest that will take place tomorrow (Thursday) not to block traffic routes leading to the airport and not to disrupt the movement of vehicles inside the airport for fear that the security forces will not be able to handle an emergency event should one arise.
District Commander Nitzav Biton pointed out this evening that blocking a traffic lane at the entrance to, or inside, the airport may delay the arrival of rescue vehicles during an emergency, including ambulances, fire fighters, and police forces.
