Assuta Hospital has signed a new labor agreement with over three hundred employees.

The agreement improves the conditions of workers in the health professions in Assuta, and regulates the standbys and the payment mechanism for them. Among the main points of the agreement is a significant salary increase of 22%, and a clause by which employees with up to three years of service will benefit from a salary increase of 18% which will be given in increments during the period of the agreement. At the same time, sickness benefits will be paid starting from the first day of illness, and the number of days of recovery and the payment rate will be compared, similar to public hospitals.

Other key clauses included in the collective agreement are a meal allowance that will not be less than NIS 22, medical insurance for the employees and their children, and bringing the hospital to a higher standard recommended by social workers.
