Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef harshly criticized former Supreme Court President Aharon Barak as part of a lecture.
"Shame and disgrace, an 86-year-old man doesn't know the verse 'Hear Israel,' is he a Jew like that? They are the continuation of the Enlightenment generation. He would interfere in religious matters. What does this have to do with you? Why are you interfering with leavened food on Passover in hospitals? All the problems of religion in the country are because of these people, these heretics."
