The National Committee for the Heads of Local Arab Authorities responded to an announcement by Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir, according to which the handling of the "Safe Route" program for fighting crime in the Arab sector will be headed by him.
"We will not hold a dialogue with Minister Ben-Gvir, and oppose entrusting the national crime treatment program to a convicted criminal," read their statement.
