Chairman of the Labor party, MK Merav Michaeli, responds to the call by MK Benny Gantz, Chairman of the National Unity Party, for immediate talks on the reform of the judicial system.
"Dear Benny Gantz, it is not clear why you are volunteering to give Netanyahu legitimacy for a coup d'état. This is not negotiation - it is a trap. If you fall into it, Israeli democracy will be severely damaged."
"Netanyahu cheated you in 2021 and put us all in a spiral from which the country has not been released to this day. Do not make this mistake again. Do not lend a hand to the destruction of democracy," Michaeli said.
