The Israeli Defense Ministry and the American Department of Defense have signed a cooperation agreement concerning emergency supplies, which will give both countries priority in the procurement and supply of weapons from Israeli and American industries.

The agreement was signed by the Director General of the Defense Ministry, Major General (Res.) Eyal Zamir, and the US Under-Secretary of State for Procurement, Dr. William LePlante, as part of the strategic-defense dialogue to promote cooperation in the fields of procurement, R&D and industrial cooperation (DAAG), hosted by the Ministry of Defense in Israel.
