Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Monday night criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant's agreement to limit IDF activities in Judea and Samaria ahead of the Ramadan holiday.
"The gesture that the Israeli government gave to the Palestinians, in which it pledged to limit proactive offensive activity by the IDF in city centers, is a grave and dangerous mistake. No matter what the political pressures, the security of Israeli citizens must not be compromised," Bennett said.
"I call on the Israeli government to restore to the IDF and the security forces all freedom of action to pursue terrorists, and to attack them anywhere and at any time," he added.
