MK Gideon Sa'ar (National Unity) criticized the government for its participation in the Aqaba conference.

"During the time of the previous government, there were several requests by the Americans, the Egyptians and the Jordanians for a five-party conference of the type that was held today in Aqaba. They were refused precisely because it was clear that these were the demands that would be made there: to freeze settlements and stop our security activities in Judea and Samaria, and Israel would stand there against all 4 together. This only happened once the right-wing government came in full swing," Sa'ar wrote on Twitter.
