Minister Bezalel Smotrich responded to reports of an agreement between Israel and the Palestinians at the Aqaba conference in Jordan regarding settlements in Judea and Samaria.
"I have no idea what they talked about or didn't talk about in Jordan. I heard about this unnecessary conference from the media just like you. But one thing I do know: there will not be a freeze on construction and development in the settlement, not even for one day (this is within my authority). The IDF will continue to act to thwart terrorism in all areas of Judea and Samaria without any limit (we will confirm this in the cabinet). It's very simple," Smotrich wrote on Twitter.
