State President Isaac Herzog commented on the shooting in Samaria:
"A very difficult and sad evening due to the loss of the late Yaniv brothers in today's attack. We will pursue and catch the vile murderers, and embrace and comfort the Yaniv family and the Har Bracha family. My sincere condolences go out to you from the bottom of my heart. May they rest in peace," Herzog wrote.
He spoke with the Rabbi of Har Bracha, Rabbi Eliezer Melamed, the head of the Samaria Council and the head of the Beit El Council, Shai Alon. The President heard from them about the wonderful family and the children and asked to convey his deepest condolences.
