Defense Minister Yoav Gallant recently conducted a situation assessment together with leading officials in Israel's defense establishment, following the terror attack that took place today.
Minister Gallant instructed security forces to focus operational and intelligence efforts on apprehending the perpetrators of the attack, while taking all the measures necessary to prevent any additional attacks.
In addition, the Minister approved the reinforcement of troops in Judea and Samaria for defensive purposes.
The situation assessment was attended by the IDF Chief of the General Staff, Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Deputy Director of the ISA, Head of the Operations Directorate in the IDF, Head of the Intelligence Directorate in the IDF and additional senior officials.
