Economy Minister Nir Barkat commented on the shooting in Samaria:
"My heart is broken by the difficult news of the murder of the Yaniv brothers, residents of Har Brachan, in the murderous shooting attack in Samaria. The image of the two brothers burns the heart. Two young Jews at the beginning of their lives who were murdered just for being Jews in the Land of Israel. So much pain. I support the Yaniv family in the face of their enormous loss and send condolences on behalf of the entire people of Israel. May their memory be blessed."
"Unfortunately, even after this murderous and heinous attack - the terrorist-encouraging Palestinian Authority will pay the vile terrorist four million NIS for the murder they committed. It is unfathomable that Abu Mazen and the Palestinian Authority on the one hand pay for the murder of Jews and on the other hand receive a listening ear. It's time to stop the engine of terrorism," Barkat said.
