The Ministerial Committee on Legislative Matters today approved the proposal to allow a death penalty for terrorists.
According to the law, the court will be able to impose the death penalty on those who have committed the crime of murder on nationalistic grounds against the citizens of Israel. The committee decided that after a preliminary vote on the law, a discussion will be held in the state security cabinet that will discuss the wording of the law.
