Former Prime Minister Ehud Barak spoke this evening at a demonstration in Tel Aviv and said that this is the most serious crisis since the establishment of the state.

"We are here, secular and religious, Jews and Arabs, to defend the Declaration of Independence. We are facing a regime coup, which is an elimination of democracy. We will not let this happen, we will fight and we will win," he said.

Later in his speech, Barak called on President Herzog and asked: "Is your honor in favor of those who said to demolish the Supreme Court or those backing the Declaration of Independence?"
