MK Benny Gantz criticized the transfer of authority in Judea and Samaria to Bezalel Smotrich.
Gantz said that "The responsibility for the consequences of the dissolution of the IDF and the Ministry of Defense rests with Prime Minister Netanyahu. This is a decision that will tear the chain of command, harm the security of Israeli citizens, and harm our international standing. Netanyahu is the first prime minister since the establishment of the state to put politics above security. Selling the security of Israeli citizens for the purpose of surrendering to extremists due to political needs is a line that must not be crossed. Every Jewish mother will know that the fate of her children and our security has been left in the hands of irresponsible politicians.''
