The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court is hearing a defamation lawsuit filed by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir against Prof. Penia Oz-Salzberger for a tweet in which she referred to Ben-Gvir as the head of a criminal organization.
In a statement by the defense, Oz-Salzberger claimed that Ben-Gvir is indeed, "the head of a crime family" but emphasized that she meant it in a "metaphorical sense."
