National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir on Wednesday blasted the decision to transfer the terrorist who attacked an IDF officer in the City of David to a rehabilitation center.
"The court that released the abominable terrorist who shot and seriously wounded a Jew in the City of David from prison to a closed rehabilitation center, as well as the State Attorney, made a serious mistake."
"It is inconceivable that a terrorist who set out to murder Jews and his malicious plan failed will receive rehabilitation with trips, educational classes and a host of other things. He could have been sent to a closed residence with a closed wing. This is not how deterrence is built, this is how Israel is weakened and our governance is harmed," said Ben Gvir.
