Israel's ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, wrote a letter to the New York Times in which he attacked the editorial department..
"The slanderous narratives of the New York Times actively contribute to hatred against my country, and as a result, your newspaper plays a role in jeopardizing Jews around the world," reads Erdan's letter.
