Foreign Minister Eli Cohen commented on the statement by the UN Human Rights Commissioner who called for a halt to the legal reform legislation.
"Any connection between human rights and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights is strictly coincidental. We will not accept moral preaching from those who ignore flagrant violations of human rights in Syria, Iran, the Palestinian Authority and Gaza, and attack Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East, more than any other country," Cohen said.
