UN calls for Israel to suspend judicial reform

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, called on Israel to suspend the plan to reform the judicial system. "There is a clear danger to the protection of the law. If the changes are approved, they will weaken the protection of human rights, especially the most vulnerable communities."
