Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir commented on Arab rioters blockading certain neighborhoods of Eastern Jerusalem.

"I instructed the police to continue the 'concentration of effort' operation in Eastern Jerusalem. They have been working since the early hours of the morning to remove the blockades - and I greatly appreciated their efforts," said Ben-Gvir.

"The State of Israel will not fold before a handful of terrorists. The criminals who block neighborhoods are instigators acting against the law and aiming for anarchy in the Eastern part of the city. We must not allow them to do that. Of course, the collective must be separated from individual criminals, but the Israel Police must show a heavy hand and zero tolerance towards the lawbreakers and the operation will continue," he added.
