Member of Knesset and former Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot from the National Unity party said that Prime Minister Netanyahu should be involved in the reform despite the objections of the Attorney General.

"There is an event here that is much broader than legal reform," Eizenkot commented in an interview with Kan. "There is an event here that concerns the national security and national strength of the State of Israel and I would expect the Prime Minister to take a position and lead to the postponement of legislation to prevent a very serious incident."
