The Ministry of Defense temporarily and immediately suspended 26 companies suspected of running a cartel and biasing construction and maintenance tenders in the defense system. The companies are being investigated as part of a case that is being jointly managed by the investigation unit of the Defense Ministry Security Authority and the Israel Police's unit for combating economic crime in Lahav 433.
The suspension will prevent the companies from participating in existing and future tenders and/or in any procurement procedure of the Ministry of Defense until a different decision is made.
