Israel Railway train service at Ra'anana, Hod Hasharon, Kfar Saba, Petah Tikva, Rosh HaAyin and Bnei Brak stations was temporarily suspended on Thursday morning due to a malfunction in the railway electrical system.

Israeli Railways said in a statement the malfunction was discovered at the conclusion of maintenance and upgrading of the electrical system that were carried out during the night. Shuttles will operate at the stations that have been shut down until train service returns to normal.
