Reshet Bet reported this morning (Wednesday) that Foreign Minister Eli Cohen and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the export of Israeli gas to Europe through Turkey during their meeting.
According to the report, Turkish officials, President Erdogan and Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu brought up the issue, telling Cohen that they were interested in cooperation in the gas sector at a time when Europe is looking for substitutes for Russian gas.
Minister Cohen did not rule out the possibility and told his counterparts that: "We will examine the subject."
