A 37-year-old female was killed today in Araba in the Galilee, after her ex-husband is suspected of ramming her car with his vehicle at the entrance to the city.

The two argued over who the children would live with, and then the man pulled out a knife and murdered his ex-wife. Passers-by tried to keep him away from her and he fled the scene. Police began a manhunt for him.

The woman was evacuated by Magen David Adom to Poria Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Police called to the scene began extensive searches accompanied by a police helicopter to locate the suspect and arrest him. Investigators are collecting findings and the investigation is ongoing.

MDA paramedic Anan Badarna said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the woman lying unconscious on the street, we performed medical tests on her, she was without pulse and without breathing.

"We immediately started performing advanced resuscitation operations on her, which included massages and resuscitation, we loaded her into the intensive care unit and evacuated her to the hospital while continuing to perform resuscitation operations when her condition was critical," he added.
