A resident of Rehovot who arrived at Kaplan Hospital last night claimed to have been attacked by MK Osama Saadi of the Joint Arab List, according to a complaint sent overnight to the Rehovot police station.
In the incident, which was documented by the victim, a confrontation can be seen that developed on the spot between residents and left-wing activists who came to support the Islamic Jihad terrorist Maher al-Akhras, who is hospitalized at Kaplan Hospital.
At some point, the terrorist's supporters began to verbally confront the complainant. At a certain moment, MK Saadi arrived at the scene and grabbed the complainant's cell phone from his hand.
According to the complaint filed by Adv. Haim Bleicher of the Honenu legal organization, MK Saadi also punched the complainant during the incident. MK Ofer Kasif, who was present, was also documented confronting the complainant and shouting at him.
The MKs and the other supporters of the terrorist confronted hospital security as well as families of other people who were hospitalized and were disturbed by the commotion.
Another well-known anarchist who came to support the terrorist is Yonatan Pollak, who in recent years has been participating in riots throughout Judea and Samaria in which many IDF soldiers were wounded.
In the complaint, Adv. Bleicher wrote that the attackers carried out the attack in front of the police and security guards without fear, demonstrating a greater danger to the public. Bleicher asked the police to detain the attackers immediately. In addition, it was stated that the complainant will arrive at the police station today to submit a formal complaint and submit the documentation in his possession to the police.
