Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu abruptly left the weekly Cabinet meeting Monday, saying that he had to take “a call of national importance.”

Last month, Netanyahu left another government meeting for another call the nature of which he did not disclose at the time. The call turned out to be with United Arab Emirates leader Mohammed Bin Zayed and the two leaders announced the establishment of full relations between Israel and the UAE later that day.

At the time, Netanyahu said that he was being called away for “a matter of national importance”, adding that “you’ll find out later why I left.”
