The number of people who were diagnosed with coronavirus at the Gymnasium High School in Jerusalem rose to 18 on Thursday.

Of the confirmed cases, 11 are students and seven are staff.

On Wednesday it was announced that three students in the school were diagnosed with COVID-19, resulting in the school being shut down and returning to the format of distance learning.

The students from the high school who are members of the Clalit and Meuhedet health maintenance organizations were tested on Thursday at Magen David Adom drive in complex at Teddy Stadium.

The rest of the students will coordinate a test with their health maintenance organization. All 180 staff members will be tested on Sunday.
