He is expected to announce that restrictions will be eased.
The Israeli government will vote Saturday night on which restrictions to ease, and the decision will be implemented on Monday.
Earlier on Saturday, Israel's Health Ministry said that the number of confirmed coronavirus cases has reached 13,107, with 167 in serious condition and 118 on ventilators.
The Health Ministry also said that 9,950 coronavirus tests were performed in the 24-hour period between Friday and Saturday
