Fires were started in five locations around the Gaza Strip as rioters threw or launched Molotov Cocktails over the security fence Wednesday.

Firefighters and rescue teams, with the assistance of KKL-JNF firefighters and the Nature and Parks Authority brought the fires under control.

Earlier Wednesday, thousands of Arabs rioted at a number of locations across the border fence in the Gaza Strip. The rioters burned tires and threw stones at IDF forces during Nakba Day demonstrations.

The rioters threw explosive device and tried to approach the perimeter fence. IDF soldiers used riot control measures to dispers the rioters.

The Health Ministry in Gaza reported that 60 Gazans were injured by IDF fire.
