MK Betzalel Smotrich (Jewish Home) criticizes Judea and Samaria council heads who arrived yesterday morning for a meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu despite his rejection of all demands for developming Judea and Samaria communities.

"The fact that some of the council heads are present in the opening picture of Netanyahu's campaign is embarrassing and harms settlement," Smotrich said.

"All settlement demands were rejected by Netanyahu. Almost four years and there's no regulation, almost no construction, no roads, and no budget. A lot of talk and throwing some bones like to a beggar in the doorway. That's not how to lead."

On the other hand, Efrat Council head Oded Ravivi criticized council heads who boycotted the meeting with Netanyahu: Yossi Dagan of Samaria, Yisrael Ganz of Binyamin, and Eliyahu Liebman of Kiryat Arba. According to Revivi, "the decision to boycott a meeting with the Prime Minister is a sham, a face-off, and a blow to settlement.

"The attempt to twist his arm because of the upcoming elections does not respect us. When the Prime Minister calls, you come. Those who oppose boycotts shouldn't boycott," Ravivi added.
