Suspected terror attack in Melbourne

At least one dead in Australia after man goes on a stabbing spree while yelling 'Allahu Akhbar'.

At least one person was killed with another two injured after a man went on a stabbing spree in Melbourne, Australia.

The assailant also attacked a policeman with a light bulb and a knife. The suspected terrorist reportedly yelled "Allahu Akhbar" during the assault and was evacuated to the hospital in critical condition. He later passed away from his injuries.

ISIS later claimed responsibility for the attack in Melbourne, calling him an “Islamic State fighter”.

The attack took place on a central Melbourne street that was packed with pedestrians.
