The IDF Spokesman, Brigadier General Ronen Manelis, called the IDF's attack on Syria last night a “great success,” during an interview with Army Radio on Thursday morning.

"We have significantly harmed the targets of the Iranian Qods Force and the Revolutionary Guard throughout Syria," Manelis added. "In the coming hours, they will understand very well how much we have harmed them."

"The air strike is one of the largest carried out by the Air Force in recent years," Manelis explained. "What we did tonight is only the tip of the iceberg of the IDF's ability, and it seems to me that the Iranians understand this."

Despite the tension, Manelis sought to calm the citizens of Israel: "At this stage there is no intention of carrying out another reserve call-up. The instruction to northern residents is to maintain daily routine.”

Manelis pointed an accusatory finger directly at Iran. "They are trying to hide it - but the rockets shot last night into the Golan Heights were carried out by an Iranian force under the command of Qasem Soleimani."

The strikes last night were carried out after rockets were shot by an Iranian Qods force at frontline IDF posts in the Golan Heights. Nobody was injured in the Iranian attacks, no damage was caused and no missiles exploded in Israeli territory.
