Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman spoke last night during Mimouna celebrations in Ashdod of the journalist's death in the Gaza riots.

"We've seen dozens of cases in which Hamas used ambulances or disguised themselves as journalists - we won't take any risks," Liberman said. "The IDF is the most moral army in the world. We're even prepared for 200 demonstrations."

"I don't know who he is, a photographer or not a photographer; someone running drones over IDF forces who knew he was endangering himself. There were cases when terrorists disguised themselves as journalists. We warned everyone in advance. We gave warnings in Arabic, Hebrew and English. Whoever endangers his life does so at his own risk"

Meanwhile, an IDF force on the Gaza border located a grenade near the Karni Crossing, which was thrown at Israel. The IDF Spokesman stated "finding the grenade is another proof that the riots were a cover for terrorist acts and under their protection they attempted to carry out attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians," he said.

This evening it was reported that the death toll in Gaza demonstrations against the security fence rose to nine. A total of 1,356 people were injured, 35 of them seriously, according to a statement issued last night.
