Police did not allow an event organized by a terrorist organization that was supposed to have taken place today, Thursday, at the Rivoli Hotel in eastern Jerusalem.

An order was signed to prevent the event planned by terror group "The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine" (PFLP).

Police received information about the event and the intentions by the PLFP and, based on paragraph 69 of the 2016 law against terrorism, stopped the event ahead of time.

"Israel Police will not allow an event whose characteristics and organizers are associated with terror, and will act determinedly to prevent and thwart such incidents at any time and place," police said.
