A nine-year-old girl was lightly injured Sunday morning by stones hurled by Arabs on Route 356 between Efrat and Tekoa in Gush Etzion south of Jerusalem.

An MDA team gave the girl medical treatment and evacuated her to the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem.

Violent confrontations between Palestinian Arabs and security forces continued this morning in several locations throughout Judea and Samaria and along the Gaza border.

Yesterday, clashes took place in Wadi Ara in northern Israel. During the riots stones were thrown at an Egged bus and windows were smashed. The driver was lightly injured by shrapnel and was taken to the hospital for treatment, and two passengers who were lightly injured were treated at the scene. Police arrested two suspects in the incident - two residents of Arara, one a minor.

Yesterday, about 450 Palestinian Arabs gathered at Rachel's Tomb near Bethlehem and threw stones. At the same time, several dozen youths blocked the road on Salah al-Din Street in eastern Jerusalem, throwing stones and objects at police. 13 stone-throwers were arrested. The road blocked by the demonstrators has reopened to traffic.
